for cheap

looking for cd/dvd drive and a hard drive nothing less than 80g for cheap..
I went on mpcstuff.com and the hard drives are 100$ and cd/dvd almost 200$..
where are u guys getting y'all stuff for cheap..?

Do you give a warranty as well?

The drives carry a manufactures warranty until 2010. I also have Cheap Compact flash if you are interested. Peace

Don't need one...just trying to figure how you can sell drives for $35 that go for $80 elsewhere. Never mind.

I buy upwards of 10000 drives a month. When you buy in that quantity you get deep discounts. I am an electronics component broker. Any more questions..........?

how do you back up your stuff Memphlow? Do I need to get 2 drives or somethin'?

I use a 320 GB external drive connected to my mac for all of my backups. I transfer from my MPC HD to the external drive. You can purchase 2 drives and fit one with an external HD enclosure similar to the one below and connect it to you PC for all of you back ups.

This way you can kill two birds with one stone and have a complete solution for less than $100 if you are working with a limited budget. If not I would suggest getting a larger external drive for more flexibility.
