Trying to buy an akai hdm10 to mount the internal hard drive. Rip-off britain strikes again-24 dollars in the u.s. Cheapest i've seen out here is 25 quid before postage- anyone know the cheapest price out here in the U.K.? Thanks

The extra 15 quid, after postage, is the difference between having enough left over for a 40 gig drive or an 80 gig drive at computer xchange- i'd rather spend the extra money towards a drive then a stamped metal sleeve that costs 75 pence to produce. When you live in london and have to find 900 quid a month rent, outrageous council tax and maintain instruments/amps/keyboards from tour damage every month- it's not uncommon for us to have to be very frugal.

lol i liked that response...

ebay might be a good bet, i got my ram and 80gb hard drive from ebay for just under 60 quid for both. they were both brand new sealed products aswell.

i'm sure the hdm-10 is possible to find on ebay, but i got mine from dolphin music, 25 quid plus a fiver for delivery, and it came within 2 days and i live in belfast.

good luck anyway.
