2000 classic cd-rom

Im pretty new to the mpc world I have the mpc 2000 classic and i was wondering if there was a way to hook a external cd burner to the 2k classic or even just a external cd-rom drive? I have a lot of drum sounds and samples but they are all on cd not a floppy?

Classics and XLs cannot burn CDs.

Or just get a drive from eBay for like $20...
