Just some info incase someone else has the same prob, coz i found the solution hard to find but easy to fix.
I was unable to load anything off of my cf card, as in nothing was appearing on the load screen as if my cf card was empty. Also, when going to the load screen with a cf card inserted, the mpc would just freeze.
So, after getting some advice from someone on this forum(cheers mate, wouldn't have found this otherwise) i checked to see if any of the pins in the cf card slot were broken or bent. All looked fine...from the outside. All pins looked as if they were all present, but after sticking a small screw driver into the slot i discovered that one pin seemed to be missing. Thats what i thought anyway.
I then took the actual cf card/headphone board out, in anticipation that i could order a new one and my mpc would be ready to just install the new one. But then, because i was able, i looked a little closer at the pins, and found that the "missing" pin had just been pushed through and out the back end of the slot, which is why it looked like it was still there from the front. Easy! All i did was push the pin back through, made sure it was all straight, and put the board back in the mpc.
Everything now works fine.
Spewin i'd already placed my order for the new board though....oh well.
