MPD32

CAN SOMEONE PLS TELL HOW TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE ON THE MPD32,MY OS IS ALL **** UP AND I NEED TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW.


ANYONE PLS HELP.

try the procedure for updating mpd24

1. get SysEx Librarian (free) : http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/
2. get MPD24 OS 1.09 (mpd24_v1_09.syx) : http://www.akaipro.com/contentmgr/showd ... /1122/tt/5
3. unplug MPD24’s USB cable and reconnect it while holding down three of the five front panel transport bar buttons at the same time : <<, STOP, & REC.
4. MPD24 will now power-up displaying the following on its front panel LCD display : Upgrade ERASE OK? -> PRESS ENTER on the MPD
5. MPD24 will now inform you it is ready to proceed with the update by displaying the following on its front panel display : Upgrade 00 SEND SYSEX
6. launch SysEx Librarian
7. choose MPD24 as destination (I chose the first instance in the list)
8. add mpd24_v1_09.syx
9. play mpd24_v1_09.syx
10. wait till MPD24 finish receiving its new OS...
11. done.

But im using the mpd32 and it has settings for my DAW which is ableton live 7.

SysEx Librarian link you posted is only for MAC?Im on XP.

Im lost here.
