Bass Programs:

I made a bass program the other day with some bass samples, but I want the bass note to stop as soon as my finger leaves the pads. Anyone know how it's done?

Go to Program,then press window on the sample and turn it to note on.The manual is your friend.

Take the time to RTFM! Believe me, I know it gets FRUSTRATING but read it from beginning to end and I promise you, You will save yourself alot of time in the future. R - E - A - D,,,,,A,,,,,,B-O--O--KAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there's some useful info in there man, butttt..If you learn the hard way you develop a style and your own methods that can make your sound.

But you're not learning the hard way, you're just asking other people how to solve your problem.

I'm not talking about this particular problem, I just prefer not to read the ENTIRE manual, which Is lost in the rubble of my room, so its easier to solve it by logging on the forum. You have your ways i got mine.

When you don't take the time to read the manual you miss out on a lot of LITTLE THINGS that can and will make a big difference in your over all production. RTFM! Stop being stubborn (like I used to be) and read it, You payed a lot of money for it, don't you want to get the most out of it! But if you don't want your manual send it to me so I can stop babying mine!

haha..I am bein stubborn, but come on It was just a simple question, saves me the hastle of finding my manual in the pile that is my room.

It wouldn't be so bad if the manual were complete

The manual is written very poorly I-M-O It can be a pain in the @$$ to try and understand! One should just skip over the MIDI section!

you should always read the manual b4 you buy the product, else how do you know what the hoo har you are buying?!!

If everyone read the manual it would save all of us loads of time not having to read through all the really simple problems/questions. Like "how do you assign the midi to the individual outputs?" WTF is this about?!?!?! this guy obviously doesn't have a clue. I really can't stand the "what samples should I chop up for good beats?" people....

Welcome to the boards

Some days them kinda people don't bother me and i've got plenty of time to give out answers to the simple questions that people really should know.

Other days, they just pi ss me off.

But the really annoying asswipes are the people, like the OP, that are happy to admit to being too damn lazy to bother to read the manuals, and expect the rest of us to spoon feed them everything
