:?: hey all,

I have a question.....more like a problem.....

when I sample, I must be using only the internal memory, I have a fresh 512 cf card in the slot, I keep running out of memory, because when I go to slice it...it says insificiant memory...it still says I have 496 mb on the cf.....what am I doing wrong...I have erased too many of my good samples just to free up space...........I must be doing something wrong....is there a way I can use and save samples to the cf all the time...I would love sampling more...it is just that I keep running out of space...and it says there is a ton of free space(cf).....any help would be awesome.....

...thanks peeps,
niss

on your computer, do you save files to the RAM? no - you save it to hard drive.

Think of the CF as your hard drive. Saved samples are stored here

Loaded samples are stored in RAM for immediate usage - they are not saved here though.

More RAM = More samples loaded at once

Thank you, it is so nice to get real help, I really do appreciate it....alot of people on this sight treat people like dirt...why is that???? ego???....one question though, when I purge the samples into the ram...to free up the space...is it that easy to return them???

thanks for the help!

Hey man! Once you have purged a sample, you will need to reload it again from the LOAD screen in order to put them back into memory (RAM).
