yo guys im new to forums and just wanting to know how do i filter basslines from samples on my 2000xl? (like a low pass filter) cheers.

hit shift+6 for program, go to the drum you want. then hit params and you will see filter above resonance. Drop the filter to like around 10-15 and put the resonance up to around 10. After you get that down, read the manual!

the filter also has an envelope(A/D), and can be modulated by the pad velocity as can the sample start.
