usb - scsi

Hi Peeps,

any maniac out there who tested this with a classic mpc? I´m into IT shit but don´t dare to f***k my 3k le with this!

I have a scsi cardreader (god bless DJ Chief), but i picked up a 3k for my homie and now we want to interact with the 2 empees but -- don´t even try to get one working cardreader in europe... no one left. So... maybe it´s possible with some kind of adapters, i read something in the past that it isn´t possible because of the way how the mp uses the scsi protocol.

any Hints?

aight, thank you very much, i know this page The mp ain´t updated to 3.50 so it´s a bit hard to pay the 250 bucks for a cardreader. Maybe someone detected a magical converter for using usb devices on the mp... still dreaming hrr

You can't use that with the MP.

Although it is a no-brainer that your mate's MPC3000 should be upgraded to Vailixi 3.50 , you do not need it for this CF reader.

aprooved or just guessed? I read something bout a strange multiplayer (some kind of midiplayer) which normaly is connected to syndrivebay. The guy just connected this adapter and was able to swap sounds to and from his pc with the multiplayer. I know there are several adapters out there, and that the scsi protocol of the mp3k was kinda... experimental - but never give up the hope that there is someting usefull out there. Maybe it´s the same with it like with the cardreaderstuff. Some work some not because of certain scsi commands. Maybe Rohan is reading and can lit up the dark I remember some cats do attempts with MO Drive´s and other fancy devices build...

yeah, of course we all want to buy the update. But there is some problem with the cashflow at the moment rofl It will come sooner or later.. but until then a cardreader would be just nice to have first
