i asked this before but i jus need a bit more help on it.

i asked this question about a month ago..i got some answers but i dont know if its workin right..i wanna use fruityloops 7 with my mpc1000 . i only want the program for its synth sounds nothin more..i still wanna use the mpc too do everything else with. one of the guys helped me out n gave me the directions on how to sync the 2. also said i needed a sound card for my pc. with midi hookup. but i dont got the money for that right now. soo i got one of those usbpowered midi in/out cables.. i hooked it up but im not gettin no kinda play back from the program ..can some one help me please..
can u give me the steps on how to hook everything up. and if even that usb cable i got would work with everything..thanks alot

Just saw your post, already answered the pm. It should work, do the midi in/out of your "cable" show up in FL?

yea it shows up on my fl midi select screen and also as a icon..soo u know wat i should do next

In Fl->Midi Settings select the midi out, , click "send master sync". Connect the midi out cable to the midi in 1 (or2) of the mpc.
For the settings on the mpc read the manual p.47
