Got my new unit - can I join the club!?

Hi to all - just bought myself an MPC1000 after considering it for the last 6 months and Im glad I did.

Im coming from a PC background (using Acid Pro, Soundforge, Fruity loops) and I wanted to use something more hands on. I mainly produce Drum n Bass and some breakbeat/funk.

Now Im feeling its gonna be a steep learning curve but I shall persevere and with any luck I will be posting some tunes up on here soon.

Anyway just wanted to give a shout out to all users and hopefully I will be contributing to the site soon.

i know a few d&b dudes from round my way, but they are hardware haters which is thier loss really when it comes to the mpc.
I use my 1k for pretty much all the drums and sync it with the computer for my synths etc. The mpc brings so much fun to producing music, i don't think i could go back to programming drums on a computer now, it would just give me a headache and waste heaps of fun pad smashing time.

Thanks all. Gonna take the learning s l o w e l y to make sure everthing is covered. Gonna start producing some crunk then work my way up to the dnb badness.
