trouble with seq. overlapping-Please help a brotha out....

Hey whats up peeps? Im just working on a beat i have been messing with for 3 days. I have a unique problem. I am using 4 seq. When i go to the next seq button and enter the seq release area to trigger seq by pads i have the overlapping. Its only when seq. 2 changes up to seq 3. Everytime it comes in it overlaps seq 3 for about 1 or 2 bars. I tried setting the poly to mono on the samples but that didnt resolve anything. I also tried using sudden from seq 2 to seq 3 but that made no difference. Can anyone help me to stop seq 2 from overlapping seq3 ?

you'll have to make the first sound on seq 3 mute the last sound of seq 2 when switching

go to poly/mono then hit open window and select mutes

I think i understand. I know exactly where you are speaking of(poly/mono),im just not sure what process.....

can anyone school me on what needs to be done?

We don't know how your sequences are set up though, you will have to do some trial yourself I'm afraid.

you need to learn how to have one sound MUTE another sound

ch 7, pg 126 in the 2kxl owner's manual. get familiar.
