Each one, Teach one MPC teachers

New idea to check if anyone thinking of offering MPC lessons in their local area to beginners as a way to get more people into the MPC world and electronic music. Alot of people don`t know anything about MPCs, Samplers, drum machines around my way. Everyone is into guitars and traditional instruments, but love to buy their pop, dance, and club artists CD not knowing how most studio music is made. It time to spread the art and the love of the M.

yeah that could be cool, i was thinking of talking my 4k to the local youth club ,its for place to chill for the younger headz in my (get em off the streets...eh),,once a week,they have a sound proof room as well (dope). giving back to the community and all that,younger peeps round my way are all into there beats & ish........
ive read quite a few ads where people want Mpc tution,but never offered.
you could be onto a earner, depending on where u live ,but i think the best thing would be teaching/meeting loads of Mpc headz (':lol:'),

The first annual MPC MEET, Sat. July ?, 2005. admission is $25

There will be workshops, demonstrations, food, games and tutorials by industry insiders such as Just Blaze, Pharrel from the neptunes, Teddy Riley, D.J. Quick, Nottz, Ski, Easy MO Bee, Mario Winans, Manny Fresh of the Cash Money Millionaires, El P, Pete Rock, Marly Marl, DJ Premier, the Trackmasters, Kanye West, Hi Tek and many more........

Special guest speaker: Dr. Dre


I can see it already....if I had the doe I'd set it up myself........

Dynamic Producer website is kinda of working that way with A&R from Def Jam, Rocafella and other showing up. But as a way to spread MPC love and usage there might be a demand for a MPC teacher/tutor if the public was aware of the wonders of MPC in your area code. Check around I plan to spread the word and advertise.

hey guys, I teach guitar @ a music school in australia and also have a room there with all my gear setup, Im just about to put some ads up for some beatz tutorials, 2 get kids down and let me have a tweak on some synths and a bash on some drum machines....

anyone worked out a course plan?! hehehe

I dunno, sounds cool, I don't mean to sound like an ass or greedy, but I like when people see my MPC, they are clueless to what it does other than its a expensive machine that makes music

I don't need alot of competition in my area, I have things locked up atm

I understand what`s you`re saying Ice sometimes the forum is like that too; however, the saying goes teach them everything they know, not everything you know you know what I`m sayin! Just to spread the music. Have all the girls with pink MPC`s and the Fella`s banging on the blues just joking, but hey it could happen!! And in a way when everyone ask who`s the man with the plan they will say it`s you Ice muthaf***n Slim!! To be the best you have to learn from the best.


A little competition helps one raise their game too. I love it when people tell me I can`t do it. It fires me up to show my true power of persistance and stubborness to never quit. But if no one`s around to compete, pressure, prod me into action I may start slippin. Thanks for all the tips and knowledge!!!

What's poppin' fellow producers...STIZZ in this MUTHA...Yo...Haze thats a hot idea doggie. Matter a fact, I got down with this forum just to see if I can hire someone to come to my LAB and school a ***** on the art of SAMPLING...I'm nice w/ the beats but I have yet to MASTER sampling and the ill techniques of the trade. I can sit here a read these manuals and forums all day, but there nothing like hands on training from a self-proclaimed GURU.
