framerate ??

I have the free JJOS version 3.08 and i cant seem to find the framerate so i can sync with ableton live. where is it??

It's funny that someone named MTC doesn't know what you mean about framerate.

I'm pretty sure it's in the MIDI/SYNC screen

unless its not available in 3.08

why not midi clock and adjust the sync delay there.

well yea im sure its not on that midi/sync page so i guess im screwd in that point if i dont have a paypals acount

hey nap can you recap on what you mean? maybe in terms of me not knowing about the function of midi clock on my mpc

send midi clock from the mpc, to ableton. Keep the metronomes going on both while in play, and use the sync offset in ableton to compensate for the latency.

I'm into mmc myself so umm,... and it was 3 am the local time... and ah, I'll get me coat...

on the topic though, on JJ-site as the first on the list of additions 3.08->4.XX is MTC&MMC. hope that helps.

The 2500 automatically detects incoming framerate so I imagine the 1000 does the same in JJ ...?

Edit: Scrap that, the comparison chart says no MTC for 1k JJ OS 3.08

MTC is of course not available in 3.08 and therefore no framrate setting can be found...... in OS 1 and 2 it can be accessed by highlighting the counter in MAIN Screen and pressing Window....... just in case.
