mpc 2000 help

Ok i know im a noob, but i just got my mpc 2000. I have some samples on a floppy and i dont know what to do next. I put it in, press disk, an then what? How do i assign shit to pads? Kinda lost...

You can assing samples to pads in PROGRAM (shift+6) Hhit the pad where you want a sample and then choose sample with datawheel.

Ok so i put my disk in the mpc and went to programs, hit pad 1 and all it says on the top is "1- New Program01" how do i assign whats on the floppy to the pads
