SUp this is my first post, ive had an mpc1000 for about a month now. Check this, i got it off a crack head brand new for $200!!hahaha So ive been on it with every spare second i have, but i havent figured out how to get any off my beats off. I read the manual but i am still a little confused, i understand how to arrange the song in song mode, but then how do i get it off of the mpc. I read about record mode, but im still a little confused. When in record mode and recording the beat, will the monitor show the beat playing, because when i press play the monitor does not show that it is reading the beat. Thannks ahead for the help.

when you resample the monitor will not move, but it will say recording on the bottom of the screen. you need to record the beat to either a computer, hd recorder or tape, or anything else you can record onto. you can record the whole thing to the mp itself then move it to the computer and burn to disk.

learn to mix. look up and find out what the term mixing means in regards to audio.

**that was just an answer to your next question when you resample/record your beat, burn it to cd and it sounds quiet and muffled/muddy.
