will 160 gig hard drive work with the 1000?

I looked on the hard drive recomendations, the highest was 120gigs and 1 guy tried it with 160 and said it did'nt work, but that was 3 years ago, and maybe it does with the new os2. Anyone have any luck getting a 160 gig drive to work?

160 Gb works with MPC. I got one real cheap and formatted it and it's still going strong after about 7months. It's a little noisy sometimes when I am loading things, so watch what brand you buy. I got a Hitachi. The noise does not affect my trackin or my sampling tho, I just can hear it when it's workin. Hope this helps.
