Slicing sound problem

I load a program into my 2000xl, lay down a drum sequence. then I get my sample I want to chop up, zone it and slice the sound. When I slice the sound I create a new program but when I go to play my recorded sequence of drums the program is missing. Is there anyway to alternate between the programs, keep your original sequence and the sounds you chopped up to it? Good looks

The new sliced program by default gets assigned to PGM1. The old gets pushed to PGM2. Main Menu = redo your PGM assignment on your tracks. No way to change that default, just live with it and adjust your track pgm assignment on the main menu.

Umm.. sequence the drums and then play the other sounds while the sequence is playing?
