Mpc1000 and Yamaha MM6

Is there a way to link the Mpc1000 with the Yamaha MM6 and record 16+ midi tracks??? In other words, can I basically use the MM6 as a sound module and my mpc as the sequencer....

It seems that it has midi in and out, so the answer is yes.

how do i set it up so I can record 16 tracks on the mpc using the sounds of the mm6???

no the video didn't help much...but i think i figured it out anyway...i just used the program change in the mpc to control the sounds on mm6...that worked for now...just a little confusing trying to remember what sounds were used on what track....if you know of a better way to run this let me know...thanks...
