Memory Problem

Hi everybody, i think i have a problem with my mpc 2000. Sometime, when i open it and i go in DISK, it write that i have 10000 ko of memory and sometime it write that i just have 1900 ko. Somebody know why the mpc do that? ANd also how i can know of much Mg of RAM i have?? I bought it use and the guy who sell it to me didn't know the information.

for checking the ram,
press SHIFT + F4 (sample) then OPEN WINDOW. It will tell you there and also how much sample time u have available

You may have 2 mb installed and i have to say; I'm new to this site and have seen this questioned asked on the regular

Ok i check and it tell me that i have 10 meg.... how that can be possible?

Edit: when they teel me that i have 10 meg ( 1 time on 4), all the sound seems to be crappy like i heard the sound in background very low and i heard some distortion over. Somebody know why?
