Hey, I just got my MPC 1000 about an hour ago in the mail.
Does anyone know if I can use my USB Zip Drive to transport samples from computer to the MPC and save sequences on the Zip.

You really should investigate this sort of stuff before purchasing.
MPC1k uses flash cards.
