max ram

i havent gotten my 3000 yet but i was wondering if anyone has ever tried using 2x 32mb sticks instead of 2x 16? im looking forward to owning this machine soon and i plan on installing a CF reader before i even power it up. so if anyone knows fill me in. thanks

I think others have tried it, since the machine has been out so long. Therefore I also think it would not work.

Personally I have never ever reached the limit of my 32 MB RAM, so I wouldn't bother getting more.

Card reader is the way to go!

I installed onein my 3000LE some months ago, and can help you out with the installation. There is also some threads about this on the forum that explains the installation, but not a step-by-step easy guide stuff.

It was not too hard to do, when you have the parts you need (I can help you with that too)
