What is the most $ record you own?

Just out of interest, what is the most valuable record you own? I don't have anything worth more than $50. Anyone here got the og skull snaps or any great stuff like that?

i found this one disco record at a flea market that ended up being worth ~$100

i got tis 80's electro record "the chambers brothers- we can't be held back"
i bought itfor 69cents and it's a 200$ record,it's in mint condition with the plastic still on it.

i got a skull snaps too, last poets,Escorts.

i got a techno record that i paid 95-100 on it ,it was the first techno record out of detroit,called " A Number of Names Sharivari"

i got a grip of 45's JB's, james brown,lynn collins,Ottis Redding.

i got an OG copy of a "FAB 5 FREDDY-Change le beat"i can't remebr if i paid 40 or 60 for it.i got two copy's now

and i got some 78's that are from 1900- 1930 onesided japnese pressing not sure what they are worth i got to have them checked out with the Folks at "ANTIQUE ROADSHOW"
and see what there worth.

Yeah gotta love those james brown 45s... ive got a few myself but the condition isn't great. Funky president is hissy and i've got a locked groove in soul power
Great though! Other faves in my collection are bongo rock (love it) and the revolution will not be televised. And i've got a copy of percussion explosion coming in soon...

not sure of the worth outside of the state, but in state my favorite hawaiian record can be found for a few bucks.

the hype on popsike discogs and ebay is crazy, but understandable.

no sure on some of the hip hop stuff i got's, a few 500 ltd pressed lp's from subversiv, a dials (memphix) 7" which seems to be going for quite a bit now a days , that joey beats ltd 60 copies munny king 7" .

I aint too sure. I got a few limited pressing type things (Psychomania ,Zombi (not the OST)and some hip hop stuff) but I've never checked how valuable they are.

Some are worth more to me than others, I wouldn't trade or sell my Psychomania LP or Poets of Rhythm 45 for all the tea in China

well i used to have an og copy of the beatles rubber soul ablum, that was autographed by all of them but john lennon. i had it appraised and it was worth about 2600 bucks. the guy was offering to buy it off me right htere, but i waqs like hell no i am gonna hold on to it. my uncle gave it to me before he died. than someone broke into my house and got me for that and countless other things. i cried so much. but **** it you know. you live you learn. i should have had that shit in a picture frame sealed and all hung up somewhere. or hidden. but i'm an idiot. now the most expensive record i have is like 35 bucks.

sh!t thats terrible. There's nothing worse than that sinking feeling when you've been ripped hard...
I'm looking at getting all my stuff insured because its all adding up to a lot of money when i think about it now...

word i can feel you on that , we did a record show and someone stole our butcher album,and it was pretty clean porbably wprth 1500, but you live and you learn.

i don't leave my house for that reason of being ripped off , i had that sh!t happen as a kid and i don't want it to happen again as long as i can help it.

I found a Frank Sinatra record "Watertown" i think its a pre press with the tracks hand written on it plus like a proof letter or something dated Feb 13th 1969 Warner Bros London. I have no idea how much its worth plus I think its being played once or twice.
