I think JJ saw my bug the opposite way round. I reported it as the layer waveforms switch depending on how hard you hit the pad, but the name doesnt change- it only shows the name of the top layer.
JJ has stopped the waveform from changing rather than switching the name with the layers.fast work indeed, although i quite liked the idea of access to all layers from program mode trim or "PMT" as i like to call it

BUG: After some time playing around, zoomin along Timeline doen't work anymore... can't recreate now how it happened... needs further test.. over

EDIT: after pressing [STOP] it worked again for unknown resons

i love it but i dont like when your trimming,you cant hear the sample cutting going from end to start but you can from start to end.love the pong tho!!

didn't want to start a new thread for this and it's not actually related to this thread much, but it could potentially be some type of bug as I've never encountered anything like it before

yesterday I installed 1.13

today I loaded a 5meg samples to the mpc's hard drive from my computer. after I left the loaded the sample to memory, I put it to pad A01 and noticed that no sound was being produced. I checked trim screen, still no sound.

I check all my connections and mixer settings - everything was okay. I plugged my headphones directly into the headphone out on the MPC - still no sound.

After resetting the machine everything is back to normal. I though this could potentially be some kind of bug with the USB... don't want to speculate though. Just giving a heads up

^ i may have encountered something similar, i'll try and reproduce it

that kind of bug happened to me in os1 dealing with SPDIF in but it was not possible to reproduce it. It think it was caused by user fault (wrong sample frequency).

i've had a SPDIF thing happen too, when i input 48000 hz, the entire MPC pitches up and stays that way til reboot. it's kinda cool, but a real bummer because it ends up meaning that i can't output SPDIF from daw for sampling purposes.

anyone know of a converter i can use?

yeah I've had that one happen to me several times

Hmm... Someone else try this... Try holding down tap tempo/note repeat and then use ur [F] buttons to change the note repeat values back and forth...

I betcha can't get back to eighth notes by trying to press [F1]?!

Alas, if ya decide to change TC back to eighth notes you can get there, but hit note repeat and the [F] buttons a bit more(?)... Once again hitting [F1] doesn't do anything- you can't select eighth note repeats without repeating my stupid workaround(?)

I've duplicated this over and over... If someone else understands my description please try it. If this bug report should be elsewhere lemme know where I should post it if you all experience the same quirk
