mpc60 on the way

Took the plunge, got one coming. It needs a new floppy drive. Here's hoping it all works.

(Been reading up here. Thanks to everyone who has contributed.)

Mine came on Friday. Dead floppy and serious crashing issues. Hope to fix it when the new floppy arrives... :?

It's here. New floppy drive on the way. Made some samples, played all the pads. Cursory tests seem to show everything working. Can't save anything, obviously. Overall, I'm real happy. I like the layout and the 3.10 OS. So far, I'm having a pretty easy time getting around.

Does anybody got a tip on a case for this beast?

New floppy on the way too plus some spare parts from VST to get it fixed.

Also, I'm abut to hit the local carpenter to get some wooden side panels, plus I'm thinking for a white paintjob with everything else black (seen it somewhere over at the pics of your cribs thread and it was sicc).

Overall, damn smooth machine but with one bad thing: it doesn't forgive ANYTHING you do. One bad move and everything needs to be done again. It's getto! 8)

Mine came in excellent shape, so far no problems... i feel so lucky :D
