Hello everyone.

I recently bought an MPC1000. I'm more of a DAW musician, but I wanted to try my hand at the MPC so I finaly got one. So far, I can navigate around it pretty well, and I can get some basic PHAT-ASTIC beats going. 8) All it took was a small adjustment of terminology, and I was on my way. The unit is pretty intuitive. I like it.

MY QUESTION IS:

What is the best way to keep my files organized without running out of space so quickly?!?!? Is there a certain way, or has anyone figured out what the best way is to save your PROGRAMS, SAMPLES, & SEQUENCES on the CF? (I have a 2g, 256mb, and the 32mb CF that came with the unit.)

Right now I have a Folder for all my PROGRAMS, SAMPLES, STOCK SOUNDS, and SEQUENCES.

The problem is that everytime I try to save a PROGRAM, it tries to copy the samples too!! BUT if I tell it NOT to save the samples.... when I try to load it again, it doesn't load the samples with the PROGRAM!!!!! A message appears like this.
"?Kick32?" GRRRR

Same thing for SEQUENCES..... So is there a better way or a FOLDER STRUCTURE designed to save all the files and maximize the space on the CF??

I appreciate your help guys!!!!! (And gals, just in case).
