real new to this, need help on puttin created on cd/pc

Im sure this is real amatuer but spare ya boy some pity. Im not sure if i got all the right equipment necessary for what im tryin to do so i'll tell u my setup and what im stuck on.

aight i got my mpc 1000 midi sync'd with my motif, using the mpc as the master
and both the mpc and motif plugged into my mixer
thats all my producing equipment right there

basically using the mp for its interface and the motif as a sound module. i know i can use the motif by itself but i like the mp and the way it functions, so i havnt tried to figure the sequencing on the motif too much. as of now i just play melodies on it and drums at times. i understand that by using the mp im just recording the midi data and not the sound and during playback the mp is just triggering the sounds in the motif.

so my question is, How do i get all that on a cd?

Im recording everything fine, even just learned how to sample and chop. so i got a got a couple finished beats i wanna put on cd and see how they sound in my truck.

Record the output of your mixer to the PC, and burn that on CD.

Thanks for the help. Now is that the correct way its done or is that just the way i have to do it becuz of limited equipment? if thats the case, what else do i need for doing it the right way?
