so here's what i did. i directly recorded my bassline from a bass guitar through a mixer right into the mpc. (jjos 1 track
57 direct record.) i wanted to be able to test things out on the track mute screen so i took that bass sample that i just
directly recorded and just put it into a program on pad 1 and recorded it onto a lower track so it wouldn't have to be on track 57.
when i try to track into cubase though the directly recorded bassline wont record. everything else is fine, my beat and
sample records/tracks perfectly. i was just wondering if you have to run directly recorded samples through a mixer or
something along those lines. thanks
