whats up with the cd burners?

Whats up, I'm a mpc1000 owner at the moment, but im real interested in the cd burner
in the 2500 so i' was wondering about a couple things ,
1. Is it easy to use?
2. is there a dedicated screen with options to burn?
3.I imagine it makes good quality cd's does it?
4. did anyone get there already installd?
if not
5. is it easy to install.
And after you install it if it's not factory, how would it reconize that it needs to do it;s job
6.Is it possible to get it factory installed as well as the extra memory.

You might want to look at the 2500LE available at Guitar Center, It comes fully loaded! It's going for $2,000.00 but I would wait a few weeks for the 4th of July and they should be having some kind of sale, You should be able to get it for about $1,700.00 or less, There were only 500 made, And they came out in September of 07' If your nearest GC does not have one in stock, They should be able to track one down for you.

Okay, here are the answers to your questions IN ORDER!!!

1> Depending on how you use it, yes. I guess it's easy to use. I usually use my drive as a cd player or to pull samples from a disc. Pretty easy.
2> Yes. There is a dedicated screen with options to choose from. One of them being create a disc or burn a CD with a WAV file. I am not looking at my 2500 right now so I'm relying on memory. But I have NEVER burned a CD with it yet.

Like I said WAXMAN, the 2500LE will answer all of his questions. And he will be as happy as a runaway slave.

You don't need to buy an LE to get a factory installed CD drive.

What's up is no one using this to turn out mix cd's. It seem that is more for loading samples This
true, Im mean when I caught wind of this my first thought was (music production center). it' s not
really producing unless you produce something. So it only makes sense to be able to burn a cd ready
for an MC, but that does'nt seem to be the main function , I mean you have to resample then you have to have the memory just to burn one song, how would you get like 10 songs on there, It does'nt make sense to me, can someone please shed
light on this issue more please thanks.

my knowledge is you can only burn a wav file on to a cd with it. i dunno if you can even burn multiple wav files. i know you could resample a sequence as one wav file but i dont think you can resample a song mode song into one wav file. in short - its best for putting things into the mp, not getting things out. and you can put a cd rom into the 2500 if its not an LE. don't be so lazy. and they don't have LE's anymore

You can burn one track at a time (track length limited to available ram) - then when you have burnt all the tracks you can finalize the CD for use in a normal CD player.
