Were did you purchase your MPC5000?

Were did you purchase your MPC5000, how long ago and when did you finally recieve it? Im just tryin to see were the best place to order mine from would be...

Tried to Pre-Order from Sweetwater in March, and watched as they changed the drop date... And then on here, I heard someone had played on theres at Guitar Center, So I went by there like a week later after It went thru my head that they might have had some... actually, I called instead, and they said they had one left in stock, and he held it for me, went by their the next hour, picked it up, called Sweetwater and cancelled my Pre-Order and now im kickin it wit the MPC 5G

Lucky! I don't even think my Guitar Center has seen them, but I'm gonna call and check. Yeah, I was looking on sweetwaters site and it saying something about they only have a few in stock but not enough to ship.

Guitar Center May 17th recieved that day(had it reserved)

The Colorado Springs Guitar Center has one that's been in the store for nearly a month now. They also have the CD drive for it (separate of course).

Great piece of gear but unfortunatly doesn t fit my needs

I was looking to fool with the 5k at guitar center and ran up on one in stock. I have it on 25% lay away and I might get it this week. I was offered $1600 for my mpc4k, as a trade in toward the mpc5k. I got to get all my tracks backup first. I was hopeing to get a good trade in price for my MV8k or my fantom x6. I really want to keep the mpc4k a little longer. Hell, I will hold out and pay $2100 with tax in cash next week and keep all my gear.

I have enough already.

Well I called my Guitar Center about 2 days ago and asked if they had any in stock, the guy told me they had 3 in, and when I asked if they had any one on display he said they should but if not he will pull one out the box for me. Well apparently he must have thought I ment MPC500 cause when I went to the store yesterday the guy at the counter didn't even know what a MPC5000 was, when he looked it up he said they had none but the store in Nashville, TN did and he said he would order me one.

Well I actually grew up in prichard with my gradma (right behind vigor) till I was about 5, then moved to satsuma wit my folks...

Yeah, I got family up there iin BHam. My uncle who was from Prichard (who reggio probably knows depending on how old he is) knew the guy M16 who produced that players circle beat... I think he was from BHam. Him and MP.
