Ok say I have a Sample at the bpm of 59.7, I want this to go to 72.0

No problem right?

Problem is I also want the pitch to raise 7.00 or a perfect fifth

Raising it by pitch would take me into 89.5 which is a little bit to fast and ruins the feel :(

Anyone have a solution in what they would do to get the best sonic quality? Im still working on overcomming this problem atm

Also Reveal, I think the adjust is between Time(Processing Time) and Sound(Quality)

I'll have to experiment more

sup slim,
what i would do is timestretch to 72 as normal using "stretch" not "tune" in the Bpm page,
then after you have the sample/s in time,
then go to sample edit>>>>> pitch shift and then you can change the "tune/pitch" without changing the the tempo/bpm.
>>>>>Pitch:+7.00.
and play around with the preset and ?adjust? at both stages for the best results....

or u could tune stretch up 7.00 tune, then timestretch as normal back down ,but i'd do it the other way.......

yo

for pithc/stretch follow ravaels advice

adjust: i've once read bout it in the ref manual that it affects the algorithm applied when stretching a sample! it works also the same i think in this loopxfade window!

as i understood it you use a + value (always the more is the more ... haha ... nice english, isn't it???) if higher notes are more important to your stretchin thing (if you want basically your higher notes to sound properly after being stretched! so if your high notes are fakkin important to you set it very high, if they're just more important set it somewher in the middle! if you want the same timbre leave it at 0)! and the same for - if bass notes are more important!

and maybe i m also completely wrong - no guarantees bout the correctness of the previous chapter - i could have misinterpretet! ... bloody ref manual is in english only so if i don't really get some words i'm guessing .... so check it! it should be explained somewhere in sample mode, after regions page - bpm window - three rows! ... or the other one loopxfadewindow!

yo and if i'm totally wrong don't leave me in the dark bro's 8)

np ice
... and i don't find any adjust in my loopxfade window anymore! ... think that was wrong! instead of that there is one in this sample/edit/pitchshift window
