Sup guys,

I was woundering? That track mute function... can you record the track mutes live as you play a song? I want to record beat cuts here and there threw out the track using the track mute function. Can this be done? And if so, how?

I was sad about the lack of this feature too. What I do instead is make copies of my sequence with all tracks on. Then I go to each copy and mute the appropriate tracks. Finally, I link all of these sequences into a song.

nah - step edits cool - just hit the mode key and step edit pad and dive in - a good tool to speed the step edit process up is to learn the copy and paste functions in that world (as well as the Seq Edit world)

Tekno has alot of repetition so I may step edit record 1.1.01 - 1.3.01 and copy and paste from there to the rest of my sequence or other sequences

live recording is cool to - but learning the step edit feature will only help...
