whats good ppl. i got a turntable with a pre amp built in already and just wondering if i hook the tt directly to my mpc where would i ground the turntable

If it has a built in preamp, you wuldn't need to ground it. Would you?
I have a Numark TTUSB, with a built in preamp. Didn't need to ground it, just connected it in directly to the MPC.

hey man preciate that just wanted to make sure cz it came with the ground wire but it work perfect just like that.
