Hello all,
When I turned on my MP today I heard nothing but static coming from both main outputs (also the headphone jack).
Tried to load and trigger samples but still nothing but static. Even with the main volume turned all the way down theres still static but it increases when i turn the volume up.
What's goin on, is she finally dead?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

aight. i literally just did this so i would def try doing this cuz it really helped. open the mpc up and simply dust the entire inside. i used compressed air and a brush with synthetic bristles. pay special attention to dust near where the output ports are. it turned out that the static i was hearing appeared to simply be the result of accumulated dust. sounded like shit too. make sure to dust where the vent is too. seems that alot of shit gets accumulated their too

yeah you should make it a point to dust out your MPC at least once every few months or so
You'd be surprised how much stuff accumulates even in a non-dusty environment
