Was doing some research here about usb turntables with built in preamps and i notice noone seemed to mention the one by Ion (unless i missed it)

I was wondering if anyone has used it/ have any feedback on it. I just got my Mpc 3000 a couple days ago and right now im in the process of finding a turntable and I'm torn between the ION and the Numarks

if you planning on scratching then shoot for a direct drive table, if just some simple sampling and mixing a belt drive will do. those ions are pretty new(and cheaper) compared to the Numarks and Technics, I've handled one of the USB joints and it wasn't nothing that I'd buy. But I'm not bashing, ya get what ya pay for though!

Between the Ion and Numark, Iwould go with the Numark... Asmentioned above, neither one is good for scratching. Ion is as basic as it gets and the price reflects that. If you are only using it for samples, then it def get the job done.
