Need Advise! MPC 1000, 2500 or classic 2000XL

Hi everyone,

New to this forum. Been making beats with a friend for a while. Use tritonLE and USED to have a 2000XL (til we got jacked). I want to buy one for us now but since I have the option, I was looking at getting either the same piece or going with newer pieces like the 2500 or the 1000. My budget's @ 700 and I'm real close to buying a 2KXL soon but I'm curious to know if I should upgrade with using CD (the 2500) or getting something newer like the 1000.

Could anyone of you all help me determine which would be the best "bet" to take? I know how to use em and I dig the classic 2KXL but maybe I was thinking of saving a little more and upgrading for a 2500 (Average for them is round 1200 in my hood= $500 more to save).

I guess if you guys could answer, Floppy versus CD? Any good info will help a great deal.

Check e-bay u might find somethin u like for that 700 maybe even less depending on model

get the 2kxl, or save more money to get the 2500..youll get what you pay for..for sure the 2500 is the much better machine to go with..or even the 1000, it has also way more fetures than the 2kxl
