the bugs, the startin surface in my mpc,ill leave my mpc on play for a while and every now n then itll stop,then start right up again,ill go into load mode and load a sample into a pad,go back to main mode, the sample wont be there, i already mentioned the clicking sound during sample in another thread,whats gooooiiin onn maaaaaannnnn

do you use wavelab - thats been known to **** things up. also run the microsoft check disk on the drive - its probably got a corrupted file in it somewhere.

no i use cool edit never gave me problems be4,plus the other glitches are unxplainable

The only problem I've seen is when I'm recording a track on the main screen, if I switch to the Record sample screen, I lose my track. So I simply stop the sequencer before switching screens.

I've had the problem with the 1k just cutting out every so often.

nope

The first bug you descriped (occasionally not triggering of a sample) is a golden oldie. You'll find couple of threads about that on this forum. It's not corrected by the latest OS. Maybe it's a hardware problem, I dunno. My mpc is in repair now and I also mentioned this problem to the store. I hope it's fixed when I get it back.

IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I SHOULD BRING THE MACHINE BACK OVER THIS OR JUS WAIT FOR THE OS UPDATE,CAN ANYONE ELSE LEMMIE KNOW IF ANY OF THOSE THINGS HAPPEN SO ICAN DETERMINE IF EITHER THE OS IS BUGGY OR I JUST HAVE A FAULTY MACHINE

I dont have those problems with mine. I guess certain machines do.

loo2004, ask this question to akai tech support in your country. If they can't answer it bring your mpc back to the store and get another one. Don't wait for the next os, maybe those bugs are hardware.

The funny part about that is - when you got there, plugged it up and pressed play the 1000 would work perfectly. They'd be standing there like..."Soooooo, what's the problem?"

The sound drops out on mine from time to time, but in Song mode I've never experienced this - odd -
