protools-reason 4-mpc

having trouble getting the mpc to sync with protools after i insert reason 4 on a intrument track. i have no problems when its just protools & mpc, everything locks up fine. i have midi clock & mmc on in the mpc, and i have beatclock on in protools. when i create a instrument track and insert reason 4 i don't get any response from my mpc at all.
