Some 60II Vids...

damn...I miss my 60II. There is a certain feel/sound that misses out with the 4000.

cuz i got my 60 at forats getting new buttons and screen... thinking of selling it and getting a XL or keeping the 60II and getting the 3.1 OS...

I have the 3.10a OS. I would def cop the 3.1 OS and try it out, before you decided to sell it.

Yo den, do you chop and slice in the 60? or in another program and then load them in the 60? Im debating a 60 vs 1000. do you use anything else for your music? like an external sound device? Thanks

I sample each part I want individually into the 60 and then trim them. It can be time-consuming if I have a lot of chops, but I'm used to it. Plus I usually keep things pretty simple....
If you're gonna be doing some serious chopping and editing I would say get a newer mpc, but I personally would go for a 60/3000 over the 1000 any day.

I can always use the computer to chop if i need to. the only part i think is making it hard to decide is the fact that the 60 doesn't have any effects/ filters. you never know when you want to cut some highs to make a bass or cut some low to bring out the vocals, know what i mean? If there was a fast alternative i would have gotten the 60 already. So im looking into a mixer with a effects right now. hopefully i come out with a 60. Thanks for the reply.
