Sample dummmppin

Hello all,
Im trying to "dump" sounds from my yamaha mm6 keyboard to my mpc 2000xl
Is it possible to simply switch sounds from the keyboard to the mpc?
I know how to sequence the keyboard through the mpc but you cant edit the sounds this way much.
Please help if you can
