found a cool little thing stuffing around just now

if you hold note repeat and a pad, then while holding go into programs, when you take your finger off note repeat it still works.
then your free up with hand on the pads and one on note variation set to pitch or something
if you go 32(3) ir something you can make cool synth sounds

u can also assign a single cycle wave set to loop in trim, to your nv slider and record seq w/ moving the nv slider, same result as you just mentioned. But your method may not be recordable to sequence cause you'll be in program mode.

Yes but when you move back to the main screen, it is still "stuck". So if you set it up while the sequencer is already started then you can actually record these freaky sounds. Now when you assign tune on the nv slider, it works in real time like a pitch bend, becuase the note is being triggered, unlike a looped sound which has to be retriggered for any effect.
This is a really cool thing, its give the 2kxl heaps more synth-y possiblity in my mind!!

We are talking about the same thing, a single cycle wave is SOOOOOOO small that when you loop it and us the nv slider, it's retriggering with the loop but giving the result sound like exactly what you just said. hint = single cycle wave or 1-5 cycles.

We are really are talking about the same thing, you just haven't tried it yet. I already know what you are saying and I understand it completely.

Try note repeat + shift - - - this will hold it as well.

You can also assign a foot pedal to note repeat via MIDI

**Not using Pro Tools, Fl Studio, etc. **
*Have a MPC2000
*Have a trinity rack sound mod
* I'm in.. Sequence mode/4 bar count/ Midi 1A

For some reason when I am playing a tone(organ or strings ) from the trinity , going from the 4th bar to the 1st, I have a major glitch ( the loop). Sounds like the note stops to start back over on the first. Only happens with midi and not internal sounds. I am a junior level mpc operator (lol) so pretty familiar with the gear. This has had me stomped for a while and want to fix this problem. Thanks in advance :worthy:
