man i'm really hoping that this isn't in the manual because i scanned over the JJOS manual to see if it was. anyway, my question is when you go and chop samples it gives you the option of adding RELEASE. well, is there a way to do this without going into the CHOP function?

i don't recall seeing it when going into TRIM mode. any help would be appreciated.

quick JJOS2 question: with the new ADSR functions, are you able to extend the sample's tail infinitely?

yeah - set the sample to ALTLOOP or LOOP
turn the sample to NOTE ON
adjust the ADS settings accordingly
and then set the R setting accordingly (most important)

i just tried it and i don't think it's possible. if you set release to 100 you get a pretty long tail (2 or 3 seconds) but it still fades out... would be great having the option to switch release off (like end decay) so a loop would play infinite.

Do you mean to tell me that you can set the point at which the loop stops alt loop so that it doesn't go all the way back to the beginning of the sample in reverse?

loop lock ist stupid! i never used it in my entire life. always wished it would lock the lengh of the loop-region, not start and loop-start...
sorry, offtopic.

edit: primebeatz, yes you do.

yeah! but should't we poll first, so we can show jj the result?
not sure if he changes an existing feature... you never know who uses it and is used to it.
