Loud Popping

Occasional popping sounds coming from the MPC have just started happening. I have no idea what it could be. I know it's coming out of the MPC because i've unplugged everything but headphones and it still happens any ideas?

Does this happen after you use time stretch or pitch shift?

No, it happens after i do anything. Then it seems to stop if i haven't messed with the mpc for a while. Really strange!

The pop comes out of the main outs too?

Do you use the newest OS?

Did you use the USB connection just before that?

Yes it did come out of the main outs. I unplugged the main outs and just use the headphones until i figure this out. I'm using J 5.54 OS, i've just recently installed that. Don't know if that has something to do with it. It seems like there's alot of static that flows through my studio and my MPC sits on a metal and plastic stand thats on carpet. I'm going to get some rubber for the mpc to sit on and see if that helps.
