They just announced Version 4.0 to be in stores by late July

I just ordered my full copy of Ableton - I mean even the DEMO was off the hook - this program is really where it's at

very easy to incorporate into your current set-up and just plain fun and easy to use - especially for techno

I rearranged my whole studio to make sampling even easier (the turntable is right next to my bed now)

sample loops and beats into Ableton and use the MPC to sequence some outboard stuff - sample it all into Ableton - WOW

and now 4.0 introduces midi and virtual instrument capabilities - OMG

I'm just so excited

Yeah... with Ableton 4 it looks like I'll finally be saying goodbye to Cubase.
I never liked that interface to create songs with.

Midi AND Vst's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's friggin' awesome. i love live 3 but i always wished you could use software instruments and record midi in it. this is sweet. i don't really favor cubase either. i like live's look and ease of use. this is so awesome.
