Hello,
I've made a rhythm track 2 (bars long) on TRACK 1.

I'd like to record a long solo on audio track, while listening
this 2-bar rhythm looping...
How to do this ?

1) If I set Bars : 2, the Audio record stops after 2 bars
2) If I set Bars : 100 (enough for my solo), I must first record
100 bars rhythm (or copy paste 50 times my drum loop....)

Thanks !

I don't have the answer to your question but my guest would be that you'd need to be able to play 2 sequences at the same time (or more depending on what your doing), one would be a 2 bar loop that would repeat while the other sequence would contain the audio track playing over it. I don't believe this is possible in song mode, unless I'm wrong, I don't think you can play more than 1 sequence at a time, (this would be a good feature request for JJ, multiple sequences at a time in song mode :D ). In pattern mode I would do what you did in the second example, one long sequence. I'm interested in knowing if there is any other whay around this, it would definitaly come in handy.

I found an interesting trick to get around this. At least it worked on previous version of os2. Haven't tried it with the newest release.

If you want to loop 2 bars. Set the sequence length to 3 bars. Switch loop from "End" to "2". For some reason, this will trick the audio track into recording until you stop the mpc and the 2 bar sequence will loop continuously.
