PLAYBACK OPTIONS IN TRIM MODE!!!

I used to own a mpc2000xl. When your in trim mode when you press a pad the playback mode is set to one shot or mono as in it plays the whole sample without requiring you to hold the pad down. On the 4K the playback mode is set to note off when in trim mode meaning that I have to press and hold the pad for the whole sample to play while in trim mode. Is there anyway to change this? Please let me know asap

Please read the manual asap. Man just highlight note off and turn the jog wheel.
