hello,

first off all, sorry for my bad english....

i've got a problem. I tried out the auto chromatic function in 4.99 and it works without any problems very nice... so, but then i wanted to do this with another sample... so i went normaly to the screen (mode+pad11) chose the tune and pressed "window".... so, normally, it should show the pitch modulation window and you have to choose "auto" (F5 i think), and then, you come to the auto cromatic window. But now, when I press "window" when i'm on the "tune" field, it will directly open the screen, where i have to choose alle the midi information (original=C1, etc.) ....so, it doesn't create a new programm with all the samples auto cromated.... it just creates a new program, where the tunes are made different on each pad, but without any samples....

does it give a way, to go back to the "pitch modulation" window, so that I could choose "auto"?? it allways comes automaticly the window, where i have to choose the midi information.....

i hope you understand my problem....

thx

ok.... i looked again... ;)

i think you don't understand my problem.....

everthing worked fine, but now, wenn I press the window key while the cursor is on the tune field, the last window before finishing the auto cromatic comes - and not the pitch modulation.... so it doesn't create a new programme......

ok, my bad, sorry. have you recently updated the OS to 4.99H? I've just done that (from 4.99G) and yes, the auto chromatic window is different.

when you say 'pitch modulation', do you mean with LFO? or simply changing the tuning of a sample?

yes that would help. also try the previous OS to see if that gives you back what you had.

yes...the 4.99H - i just loaded it 3or4 weeks ago...

with "pitch modulation" i mean the window that SHOULD come after pressing "window" while the cursor ist on the "tune" field..... 1st time i tried, it worked, like in the manual....

I had a similar problem. The method for doing auto chromatic seemed much harder to me in OS2.

In the end I created an empty autoload under OS 1 which had the auto-chromatic.
When I upgraded to OS2 the chromatic program worked fine.

I was unable set up a fresh chromatic program in OS2, it nearly put me back on to OS1.

ahh, you mean velocity > pitch. that can be found in program mode [mode] + [pad7].

what a joke!! when I do it, like descriped in the manual, it doesn't work anymore....once, but then..... but if I do this via the Program mode (Pad7), it works perfectly every single time.....
