dumb q about loading samples?

loaded a folder full of samples that i wanted in the mpc, but where are they? how do i assign them to pads?

Where did you get the samples from? If you sampled them, you have to have to go to a [PAD]. Once you sample and stop it, the machine gives you a choice. Hit the [to PAD] and it will show you what pad....on OS2. What system are you working with????

thanks im on the std akai os that came with it (cant remember the version but i checked and it is the latest) the samples came from my computer?

aslong as you have got a pgm and you have loaded the samples into the mp's ram, go mode>pgm>hit pad>turn data wheel until the sample you want appears.
and thats it.

no thats what i am trying to tell you is not working, i have loaded the samples, i go mode>pgm>hitpad>turn data wheel and nothing happens?
