using audio tracks in song mode

lets say i got 3 sequences...one of them has a direct recorded audio track on track 57...but the other two dont. If i put them all into the song mode i cannot hear the audio track... anyone know how to get around this?

if i set track 57 as a audio track with the "take 01" showing after i convert the sequences to a song, it just plays the audio sample all the way through each sequence

anyone know how its done?

do you need to set the track type to audio instead of midi?
