works good? or it's better buy a external compressore like dbx???

Especially as u got the master compressor as well as the effects compressor

but with this i can make a beat fully mixed and compressed??

you can't compare it with a Manley or Urie but the master comp works very well - better than most plugins IMO. Its not "studio" quality as such but I'd say it was as useful as cheaper DBX, Behringer etc. I'd say it was most useful for demos and live performance

It works fine - you can't carry a hardware compressor round.

The compressor in the 1k integrated so that you can mix your trax really well on the fly. A hardware compressor would be great for compressing your overall mix or recording your seperate trax to your computer in your studio, but not really essential when just using your mpc.

i think it's great - the master compressor is pretty fat to my ears...not too transparant but not over the top either.

i almost never use it. it makes stuff sound too one dimensional. if it had a mix parameter on it, it'd be another story.
